It is specifically designed for installation in air-handling spaces, such as drop ceilings and raised floors, where CMP (Plenum) fire safety ratings are mandatory.

Technically, the cable is rated for bandwidths up to 550MHz, exceeding the standard Cat6 threshold to ensure stable 1Gbps and 10Gbps (short-range) data throughput.
