Overview
The TRENDnet TC-P24C5E is a 24-port, unshielded Cat 5e RJ-45 patch panel designed for structured cabling in enterprise or data center environments. It solves the problem of organizing and managing 24 individual Ethernet lines in a single, 1U rack-mount module. It supports Gigabit (1000Base-T) copper Ethernet, making it suitable for Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, and future-proof Gigabit deployments. The panel is built with CAT 5e grade 110-style Krone connectors, clearly colour-coded for both T568A and T568B wiring schemes, which simplifies installation and reduces error. It is backward compatible with older cabling (CAT 3, CAT 4, CAT 5), so existing infrastructure investments aren’t wasted. The TC-P24C5E complies with EIA/TIA 568A and ISO/IEC 11801 cabling standards, giving assurance of structured cabling quality in campus, branch, or data-center closets.
