The TRENDnet TC-P48C5E is a 48-port UTP patch panel designed for Cat 5 and Cat 5e cabling environments, supporting Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, and Gigabit (1000Base-T) networks. It provides engineers and IT infrastructure teams with a reliable termination point to organize and manage large volumes of network cabling in racks or on walls. The panel features Krone-style 110 IDC connectors that are color-coded for both T568A and T568B wiring schemes, simplifying installation and port identification. Built to support frequencies up to 100 MHz, it is optimized for copper Gigabit Ethernet while remaining backward compatible with older Cat 3, Cat 4, and Cat 5 cabling. Its steel housing fits a standard 19″ rack (1U), making it suitable for data centers, wiring closets, or edge deployments where structured cabling and neat patching are critical.
