The TRENDnet TEG-MGBS20D5 is a Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) optical transceiver designed for reliable, long-distance fiber optic networking. This module is engineered for single-mode fiber applications, enabling Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over substantial distances. It is an ideal solution for network expansions in campus environments, industrial settings, and geographically dispersed corporate facilities where leveraging existing fiber infrastructure is critical. This transceiver addresses the need to transmit data over a single fiber strand, effectively doubling the capacity of existing fiber cable pairs.
