The TRENDnet TI-PG102 is a 10-port hardened industrial Gigabit PoE+ DIN-rail switch designed for robust performance in harsh environments. It addresses the need for reliable network connectivity and power for devices in locations such as factory floors, outdoor enclosures, and other settings with extreme temperatures. This unmanaged Layer 2 switch provides a straightforward solution for expanding network infrastructure without complex configuration. Engineered to operate in a wide temperature range of -40° to 75°C (-40° to 167°F), its IP30-rated metal housing is built to withstand significant vibration and shock. The switch features a total PoE power budget of 240W, capable of supplying up to 30W of 802.3at PoE+ power per port to eight devices like IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones. Two additional Gigabit ports, which are shared between RJ-45 and SFP slots, provide flexible network uplink options. For mission-critical applications, the TI-PG102 incorporates dual redundant power inputs and an alarm relay output that triggers in the event of a power failure. This ensures high availability and allows for immediate fault notification.
