The TRENDnet TPE-E100 is a Gigabit PoE+ Repeater designed to solve a critical infrastructure challenge: deploying Power over Ethernet devices beyond the standard 100-meter (328 ft.) limitation. This compact and durable unit is ideal for network engineers and IT managers needing to install IP cameras, VoIP phones, or wireless access points in remote locations such as large warehouses, parking lots, or expansive campus environments where power outlets are unavailable. It operates as a plug-and-play device, requiring no external power source and simplifying installation. By simply placing it in-line, the extender takes a single PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) or PoE (IEEE 802.3af) connection and regenerates the signal, pushing it an additional 100 meters. The device intelligently auto-detects the required power output, delivering up to 30 watts for demanding equipment. For even greater reach, up to three TPE-E100 extenders can be daisy-chained, enabling a total network extension of up to 400 meters from the power sourcing equipment.
