Yealink EHS61 – Wireless Headset EHS Adapter

Overview :

The Yealink EHS61 is a dedicated Electronic Hook Switch (EHS) adapter engineered for IT staff, procurement teams, and systems integrators requiring remote desk phone call control. It resolves the workflow disruption of manually handling a desk phone handset by providing a technical interface between a Yealink DECT wireless headset and a compatible IP desk phone.

The unit is fully plug-and-play, requiring no additional software configuration. It translates control signals and audio pathways to enable headset-based remote call management, including answering, hanging up, and adjusting volume via the headset controls.

Deployment is for corporate, financial, healthcare, government, educational, industrial, and SME/SoHo environments, particularly in call centers, reception areas, and high-call-volume offices. The EHS61 is compatible only with the new hardware V1 editions of the Yealink WH62 and WH63 DECT headsets, which must carry an “EHS61 Supported” label on the packaging. Do not use with earlier hardware revisions (missing the V1/EHS61 label), non-Yealink headsets, or phones outside the verified compatibility list.
