Yealink W78H – DECT IP Cordless Handset

Overview :

The Yealink W78H is a wireless DECT handset designed as an add‑on extension for the W70B base station and W80/W90 multi‑cell systems. It addresses the need for reliable voice communication coverage across warehouses, retail floors, medical facilities, and multi‑storey office buildings where desk phone mobility is essential.

The handset is equipped with a 1010 mAh lithium‑ion battery delivering up to 21 hours of talk time and 166 hours of standby on V0 hardware (up to 320 hours on V1‑V4 revisions). It supports two simultaneous calls per handset, a full‑duplex speakerphone, and 3‑way local conferencing. HD audio with Flexible Noise Reduction (FNR) delivers 100 Hz – 7 kHz frequency response, and the device is Hearing Aid Compatible (HAC).

Deployment is for business users in single‑cell (up to 10 handsets) or multi‑cell environments (seamless roaming across W80DM/W90DM). The handset includes built‑in Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless headset connectivity and a 3.5 mm jack for wired headsets. Do not use this handset with third‑party DECT base stations, as Yealink DECT devices are not interoperable with non‑Yealink infrastructure.
