Overview

The HPE J9586A is a fully managed Layer 3 switch offering 48 autosensing 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ‑45 ports with an additional 4 RJ‑45 10 GbE uplink ports (10GBASE‑T). It is designed for high‑density access and aggregation deployments in enterprise campus or wiring‑closet environments that require both Gigabit access and 10 Gb uplink capability. It supports a full set of network services including routing, stacking, QoS and advanced security, allowing convergence of wired access and uplinks in a resilient stack. It integrates with the HPE/Aruba management ecosystem (IMC, AirWave) for unified visibility and control across campus infrastructure.
