Overview
The HPE JD327A is a managed edge switch designed for enterprise access layer deployments where 48 10/100Base‑T PoE ports and advanced routing and security features are required. It delivers 48 autosensing RJ‑45 Fast Ethernet ports with PoE support, plus four 1 GbE SFP uplink slots, allowing connectivity into aggregation or core layers. With support for static and RIP routing, stacking via IRF lite, integrated QoS and advanced security enforcement, it solves issues of pure access switching by bringing access, routing and stackable operations into a single chassis. The unit fits in a standard 1 RU rack and is well suited for wiring‑closets, branch access aggregation or campus floor‑edge installations, and integrates with the HPE management ecosystem via secure Web GUI, CLI and SNMP.
