Overview :

The Opengear OM1204-GLB is a compact, enterprise-grade NetOps Operations Manager appliance designed for secure out-of-band management and automated edge operations in space-constrained network environments. Combining 4 software-selectable RJ45 RS-232 serial console ports and dual 1GbE Ethernet uplinks, the OM1204-GLB provides reliable Smart Out-of-Band (Smart OOB™) access to routers, switches, firewalls, and PDUs on a dedicated management plane.

Built on an x86 architecture powered by an AMD GX-412TC quad-core 1.4 GHz processor with 4 GB DDR3 RAM, 16 GB mSATA SSD storage, and an embedded TPM 2.0 cryptoprocessor, the OM1204-GLB natively supports modern edge automation tools. IT teams can run Python scripts and Docker containers directly on the unit to automate provisioning, configuration, and emergency recovery. Managed centrally via Opengear Lighthouse software, the OM1204-GLB delivers continuous physical and remote visibility across edge infrastructure.
