Overview :

The INTELLINET 509756 is a passive Direct Attach Copper (DAC) breakout cable that converts a single 100 Gigabit QSFP28 connection into four independent 25 Gigabit SFP28 connections. It is designed for high-density data centers, enterprise networks, cloud infrastructure, and HPC environments requiring short-reach, high-bandwidth connectivity.

The cable supports an aggregate bandwidth of 100 Gbps by providing four 25 Gbps SFP28 channels. Its passive twinax construction delivers ultra-low latency, minimal power consumption (less than 0.15 W), and eliminates the need for separate optical transceivers, reducing deployment cost and complexity.

The 1 m (3 ft) cable is well suited for Top-of-Rack (ToR) switching, switch stacking, adjacent rack interconnects, and server-to-switch connections. Durable zinc die-cast QSFP28 and SFP28 connectors with pull-to-release latches provide secure installation and simplified maintenance.

The 509756 is MSA- and IBTA-compliant and programmed for compatibility with Cisco and numerous other MSA-compliant networking platforms. It should be used only for short-distance passive DAC applications and is not intended for long-reach fiber links or 10 Gigabit Ethernet deployments.
