Overview

The APC AP5719 is a 1U rack‑mountable 19‑inch LCD console assembly designed for on‑rack local access to servers and network devices. It integrates a flat panel display, full‑size keyboard, and pointing device (touchpad) into a single slide‑out unit to reduce space consumption and improve local maintenance efficiency in IT racks.

Mechanically, it occupies 1U of rack space and mounts in standard 19″ cabinets, making it suitable for IDF, MDF, edge, and data closet environments where space is at a premium and periodic local access is necessary. The console supports USB and PS/2 host connections via supplied cables, enabling broad connectivity to servers or KVM switches.

The LCD panel measures 19″ diagonal with a typical 1280×1024 resolution, providing a larger viewing area than 17″ alternatives for improved visibility when managing multiple systems. The integrated keyboard includes a full numeric section and the built‑in touchpad eliminates external peripherals.

Power is provided via an internal supply that accepts 100–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz, enabling use in global power infrastructures without additional adapters. Typical power draw is modest, supporting overall rack power budgeting.

This console is intended for local access and configuration tasks and does not include a KVM switch, so it is not suitable as a remote management console or replacement for network‑accessible IP KVM solutions.
