Overview

The APC AP9565 is a basic rack-mounted PDU designed for IT racks that need reliable single-phase power distribution without monitoring overhead. It’s typically used by data center operators, network engineers, and IT teams managing standard rack deployments.

It delivers up to 3.7kW at 230V (16A) with a single IEC C20 input and distributes power across 12 IEC C13 outlets. This makes it suitable for servers, switches, and networking gear that require consistent power from a centralized rack source.

The 1U horizontal form factor allows installation in standard racks where space efficiency matters. It fits well in small to mid-sized data centers, network closets, and branch deployments where simple, non-switched power distribution is required.

This unit is not suitable for environments requiring remote monitoring, outlet-level control, or metering. For those use cases, a metered or switched PDU should be considered instead.
