Overview :

The APC SRT3000RMXLT is a rack-mount double-conversion online uninterruptible power supply designed to provide continuous conditioned power for critical IT and electrical infrastructure operating on a 208V power distribution system. It is typically deployed by data center engineers, network administrators, and facilities teams responsible for protecting servers, storage systems, and network equipment from power disturbances or outages. The UPS maintains stable output voltage and frequency while delivering battery runtime during utility failures.

The system provides 3000VA / 2700W output capacity using a double-conversion topology that continuously converts incoming AC power to DC and back to AC. This architecture isolates connected equipment from voltage fluctuations and eliminates transfer delay during utility interruptions. Output power is distributed through two NEMA L6-20R and one NEMA L6-30R receptacle, allowing multiple 208V rack devices to be powered directly from the UPS. Input power is delivered through a NEMA L6-20P connector, supporting 208V or 240V supply environments.

In infrastructure deployments, the UPS is installed in 2U rack space within 19-inch server cabinets supporting branch data centers, IDF closets, and enterprise network racks. The unit protects compute nodes, hyperconverged platforms, and network aggregation equipment where uninterrupted power and voltage conditioning are required. A common deployment example includes a small virtualization cluster or storage rack requiring 208V power redundancy. The UPS conditions utility power while providing several minutes of runtime, allowing graceful shutdown of servers or generator failover during extended outages.

This UPS should not be deployed in environments limited to 120V branch circuits or standard NEMA 5-15 outlets. Infrastructure without 208V or 240V power distribution and L6-series connectors will require a different UPS model designed for lower voltage ecosystems.
