Overview :

The APC SRT3000XLT is a double-conversion online uninterruptible power supply designed for protecting critical IT infrastructure operating on a 208V power distribution system. It is typically deployed by infrastructure engineers, network administrators, and facilities teams responsible for maintaining uptime in server rooms, network closets, and edge compute sites. The UPS isolates connected equipment from voltage instability and provides battery backup during utility outages, ensuring continuous power delivery for sensitive electronics.

The system provides 3000VA / 2700W output capacity using an online double-conversion topology. Incoming AC power is continuously converted to DC and inverted back to AC, eliminating transfer delay during power failures while delivering regulated sine-wave output. The unit accepts input power through a NEMA L6-20P connector and distributes protected power through two NEMA L6-20R outlets and one NEMA L6-30R outlet, supporting mixed rack-level equipment loads.

In deployment architecture, the UPS is commonly installed in branch data center environments, IDF or MDF network racks, and edge infrastructure cabinets using 208V power distribution. The tower chassis can be installed vertically beside rack cabinets or converted to rack installation using compatible rail kits. This flexibility allows integration into 19-inch rack ecosystems without changing power protection hardware.

Operational integration includes USB, serial, and SmartSlot management interfaces, enabling remote monitoring, graceful shutdown automation, and centralized infrastructure monitoring. Optional network management cards allow integration with centralized UPS management systems and environmental monitoring platforms for distributed infrastructure deployments.

A typical deployment example includes an edge virtualization node or network aggregation rack requiring conditioned 208V power. The UPS maintains stable voltage for servers and storage appliances while providing several minutes of battery runtime, allowing graceful shutdown or generator switchover.

This device is not appropriate for 120V branch office environments or locations without 208–240V circuits. Facilities using standard NEMA 5-15 or 5-20 outlets will require a UPS model designed for low-voltage power ecosystems.
