Overview
The Eaton 9SX2000G is an online double‑conversion UPS built for continuous protection of critical IT, networking, storage, and edge computing infrastructure. It is deployed by data center engineers, network architects, and facilities teams where zero transfer time and strict voltage regulation are required to maintain uptime and prevent data corruption during power disturbances and outages. The online topology isolates sensitive loads from mains irregularities.
This UPS is rated 2000 VA / 1800 W with a 208 V nominal output and a 0.9 power factor, supporting a balanced mix of rack servers, SAN/NAS arrays, switches, and telecom gear. It includes (8) IEC C13 battery‑supported outlets, true sine‑wave output, and internal ABM battery management with optional extended battery modules (EBMs) for additional runtime.
The 9SX2000G is a tower form factor designed for free‑standing installation in small data centers, server closets, or remote branch facilities where rack space may be limited but continuous, conditioned power is required. Its footprint enables straightforward placement on raised floors or equipment shelves near loads.
Integration includes a Mini‑Slot expansion port for optional network management cards, a USB port, and an RS‑232 interface for integration with Eaton management software (e.g., Intelligent Power Manager) and external monitoring stacks. Built‑in internal bypass enables maintenance without load interruption.
