Engineered for server environments, data centers, and network closets, this specialized hardware enables zero-downtime maintenance and hot-swapping of connected 100V to 125V UPS systems. System administrators deploy this unit to isolate failing or end-of-life battery backups without interrupting operational power to active computing equipment.

The electrical architecture operates via dual NEMA 5-15P input cables—one dedicated to the host UPS output and the other connected directly to secondary utility grid power. Under normal operations, the mechanical selector switch routes conditioned energy from the UPS across its six NEMA 5-15R outlets. When the manual switch is turned to the bypass position, internal contacts transparently shift the electrical load onto the utility grid circuit in 0 milliseconds, permitting safe physical replacement or servicing of the battery backup system.

Efficiency management is enhanced by a built-in green ECO power-saving mode.
