Overview
The Eaton SRCOOL3KTP33U is a 33U self-contained, closed-loop rack enclosure with an integrated 3.5kW (12,000 BTU) top-of-rack precision air conditioning system designed for edge data centers and single-rack micro data center deployments.
It combines a standard-depth 19-inch server rack with an integrated cooling unit, delivering localized thermal management directly inside the enclosure. This design eliminates the need for external CRAC/CRAH infrastructure, making it suitable for distributed IT environments where HVAC capacity is limited or unavailable.
The system supports up to 3000 lb stationary load and is designed for enterprise servers, network switches, storage arrays, and edge compute nodes. Built-in LX Platform remote management enables real-time monitoring of temperature, airflow, and system status for remote infrastructure control and predictive maintenance.
Deployment use cases include retail edge sites, branch offices, industrial automation rooms, laboratories, and telecom micro data centers where rapid deployment and thermal independence are required. It is not intended for hyperscale multi-rack data halls or environments requiring centralized chilled-water cooling systems.
