Eaton SRCOOLNETLXE LX Platform Cooling Network Module
Overview
The Eaton SRCOOLNETLXE is an LX Platform network management module designed to enable remote monitoring, control, and automation of Eaton SmartRack portable cooling systems. It is used in enterprise data centers, server rooms, and unattended IT environments where cooling units must be managed over IP infrastructure without on-site intervention.
This module connects directly to compatible Eaton cooling systems (including SRCOOL12KE and SRCOOL12KWTE) and provides web-based and SNMP-based management through the PowerAlert Device Manager platform. It allows operators to monitor temperature, adjust setpoints, control fan behavior, and receive environmental alerts from remote locations.
The SRCOOLNETLXE includes support for an external environmental sensor module (E2MT), enabling rack-level temperature monitoring inside the cabinet for more precise thermal control. It is designed for deployments where uptime, thermal stability, and remote visibility are critical.
This unit is required for newer “E” suffix cooling models and replaces earlier SRCOOLNETLX variants in updated Eaton cooling platforms.
It is not a standalone cooling device and cannot operate independently without a compatible Eaton portable or rack cooling system.
