Overview
The Eaton SRFFD4230 is a SmartRack fan-integrated front door kit designed for wide 42U rack enclosures in enterprise, edge, and data-center deployments. It combines high-volume airflow, integrated filtration, and rack door functionality into a single cooling assembly for thermal management in high-density rack environments.
The unit includes three fan panels with four 120V fans per panel, delivering up to 93 CFM per fan at 60 Hz for improved airflow across rack-mounted servers, storage systems, and network equipment. Integrated dust filters help reduce airborne contaminants entering the enclosure, supporting cleaner intake airflow and improved equipment reliability.
Designed specifically for Eaton SmartRack 42U wide enclosures, the SRFFD4230 installs using included toolless mounting hardware and connects through standard NEMA 5-15P power connections. The cold-rolled steel construction supports continuous deployment in commercial IT rooms, branch infrastructure, and colocation environments.
This model is suitable for racks requiring additional front-to-rear airflow management without deploying separate rack cooling accessories. It is not intended for standard-width racks or installations requiring intelligent environmental monitoring and variable-speed fan control.
