Eaton SRTH6UB SmartRack 6U Rack Extension
Overview
The Eaton SRTH6UB is a SmartRack 6U “top hat” rack extension designed to expand the usable rack space of compatible Eaton floor-standing enclosures without increasing floor footprint.
It is deployed in enterprise data centers, telecom rooms, colocation environments, and structured IT installations where additional rack capacity is required but additional cabinet floor space is not available.
The module mounts directly on top of a standard-depth SmartRack enclosure and adds 6U of additional rack space with integrated locking doors, side panels, and adjustable 19-inch mounting rails.
It is commonly used for mounting patch panels, network switches, PDUs, and lightweight IT equipment in vertical expansion configurations. It is not intended for heavy server loads or standalone floor mounting.
