Overview

The Eaton SU2200RTXLCD2U is a 2000 VA / 1800 W online double‑conversion uninterruptible power supply (UPS) engineered to deliver continuous conditioned AC power with zero transfer time for mission‑critical devices such as servers, storage, networking, and edge compute systems. It is designed for IT engineers and data center teams who require reliable power isolation from mains anomalies like blackouts, brownouts, frequency shifts, and surges.

Operating in true online/double‑conversion topology, this UPS maintains a pure sine‑wave output at nominal 120 V AC with a 0.9 power factor, ensuring consistent voltage and frequency regulation under load. Input is through a NEMA 5‑20P plug with an 8 ft cord, supporting standard 120 V infrastructure; outputs include six NEMA 5‑20R and one NEMA L5‑20R receptacle for distribution flexibility.

The chassis occupies 2U rack height and ships with rack/tower mounting hardware, enabling installation in 19‑inch cabinets or as a standalone tower. A two‑line LCD with selectable screens provides real‑time information on input/output states, load, battery capacity, and alerts, simplifying on‑site diagnostics.

Communications include USB, RS‑232 serial, dry contact/RPO/ROO terminals, and an expansion slot for an optional WEBCARDLXE network management card, enabling remote monitoring and control in distributed environments. Hot‑swappable VRLA batteries support orderly shutdown workflows and can be extended with up to four external battery modules for prolonged runtime.
