Overview
The Eaton TL3-POE-DUAL is a modular electronic access control lock designed for IT rack enclosures and secure infrastructure cabinets. It is deployed in data centers, telecom rooms, colocation environments, and enterprise edge installations requiring controlled physical access to rack-mounted equipment.
The unit uses dual-factor PIN and RFID authentication to strengthen rack-level security and reduce unauthorized cabinet access. It supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) connectivity and integrates with remote management environments through Ethernet-based communication protocols including SNMP and LDAP.
The TL3-POE-DUAL is part of Eaton’s TANlock 3 platform and supports interchangeable authentication modules for deployment flexibility across mixed-security environments. Its die-cast zinc housing with black powder-coated finish is engineered for continuous operation in enterprise infrastructure installations. The lock supports left- or right-side mounting depending on enclosure configuration.
This model is suited for organizations implementing rack-level physical security and audit-controlled access management. It is not intended for residential smart-lock applications, non-rack door systems, or outdoor deployments exposed to uncontrolled environmental conditions.
