The Eaton EBP‑1002 is a sealed lead‑acid replacement battery cartridge designed for internal use in select Eaton 5P and 5PX uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. It is deployed by IT infrastructure engineers and facilities maintenance teams when the original UPS battery has reached end‑of‑life or can no longer sustain the required backup runtime. The EBP‑1002 restores the UPS to its designed uptime capability without changing the UPS’s rated power capacity.
