As a worker module within Fortinet’s modular chassis architecture, the FPM-7620F receives sessions load-balanced by FortiGate Interface Modules (FIMs) over the backplane. It features two 400 Gbps data and two 50 Gbps management connections over the chassis fabric, ensuring efficient internal data distribution. On the front panel, this module delivers versatile connectivity through two QSFP-DD interfaces (supporting 400 Gbps, 100 Gbps, 40 Gbps, or split speeds) and eight SFP28 ports capable of 25 Gbps or 10 Gbps links—enabling flexible integration with high-speed networks.
