Overview :

The HP JG219A (model 5820AF‑24XG) is a rack‑mountable Layer 2/3 switch designed for data centres, enterprise aggregation layers or campus backbone deployments. It provides 24 fixed 10 GbE SFP+ ports along with 2 (or depending on revision 4) autosensing 1 GbE RJ‑45 ports, enabling high‑bandwidth uplinks and consolidation of server‑access or aggregation workloads. Built for 1U rack height, front‑to‑back or back‑to‑front airflow support, hot‑swappable fans and redundant power capability make it suitable for critical infrastructure environments. The switch integrates into existing network management platforms via CLI, web UI or SNMP/IMC and supports IPv4/IPv6 dual‑stack routing, making it appropriate for data centre top‑of‑rack or campus distribution where 10 GbE access and advanced services are required.
