Overview
The HPE 872726-B21 is a server-grade network adapter designed to deliver two ports of 100 Gb/s connectivity in a low-profile plug-in card format. Each port supports QSFP28 interfaces capable of 100 Gb/s Ethernet or InfiniBand EDR links, providing ultra-high-bandwidth I/O for compute, storage or converged infrastructure nodes. The adapter utilises a PCI Express 3.0 ×16 host interface (or equivalent mezzanine slot) and is compatible with virtualised servers, NVMe-over-Fabric storage nodes and HPC clusters requiring full-rate throughput and modern offload features. With support for RoCE, low-latency transport, and high port-density uplinks, this card meets the demands of high-performance data-centre fabrics. Suitable for HPE ProLiant Gen10 (and later) servers certified for 100 Gb/s networking, it enables consolidated dual uplinks while preserving other expansion slots for accelerators or storage.
