The HPE J9150AS module (also known as X132) is a high-performance 10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ transceiver designed for multimode fiber short-reach deployments. Operating at an 850 nm wavelength, it supports link distances up to 300 meters using OM3 fiber (or up to 400 m over OM4), making it ideal for data centers, campus backbones, and server-switch interconnects. Compatible with ProCurve, Aruba , and HPE networking gear, this module delivers reliable, low-latency connectivity in a compact, hot-swappable LC form factor.
Features
Engineered to meet IEEE 802.3ae 10GBase-SR standards, this transceiver supports data rates from 1.25 to 10.31 Gbps and is equipped with Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM/DOM) via I²C. The module is intended for use in SFP+ ports with duplex LC connectors, enabling plug-and-play installation without system interruption. Certified to operate in environments with ambient temperatures from 0 °C to 70 °C, it is fully RoHS compliant and supports EMI-reducing metal enclosure design. Compatible with HPE and Aruba equipment such as ProCurve 5400zl, 8200zl, 2920, and various Gen8/9 blade and switch models.
