Overview
The HPE J9550A is a Gigabit access‑module designed for engineers who already have a chassis in the HPE E5400 zl or E8200 zl series and need to add a block of copper Gigabit ports without PoE. It supplies 24 autosensing 10/100/1000‑T ports via RJ‑45 in a v2 zl plug‑in module format. It fits into the chassis environment used in campus access or medium branch distributions where multiple machines, workstations or uplinks are connected over copper. Because there is no PoE on this unit (unlike PoE‑modules), you avoid using unnecessary power budget when endpoints don’t need power.
