Overview
The HPE JW017A (also known as AP-ANT-40) is an indoor ceiling-mount omni-directional antenna with 4×4 MIMO capability, built for enterprise wireless deployments requiring uniform coverage in open-plan offices, large meeting rooms or classroom environments. With gain figures of approximately 4 dBi in the 2.4 GHz band and 5 dBi in the 5 GHz band, it supports dual-band access points needing external antennas for optimized performance. It is designed to deploy flush with ceilings or drop-tiles and integrates four RP-SMA pigtails for connection to supporting access points. This antenna works in enterprise campus, branch or hospitality environments where ceiling-mounted WiFi access points deliver coverage across hundreds of clients. Compatible with the Aruba WLAN ecosystem from HPE.
