Overview
The HPE P17524‑001 is a high‑density data‑centre rack switch designed for modern 100 GbE environments. With 32 QSFP28 ports it delivers up to 100 Gb/s per port, enabling massive east‑west traffic flows and aggregation for storage, compute and cloud infrastructures. Built in a 1U form‑factor with non‑blocking architecture and an aggregate capacity of around 6.4 Tb/s, the switch supports breakout speeds, low latency forwarding and open‑networking flexibility. It supports front‑to‑back (connector‑to‑power) airflow, redundant hot‑swappable power supplies and fans, making it suitable for high‑availability spine/leaf fabric roles in enterprise data‑centres.
