Overview
The HPE P17526‑001 is a 1U high‑density Ethernet switch designed for modern data‑centre leaf/spine, storage‑fabric and high‑throughput compute environments. It features 32 QSFP28 ports that support 100 Gb/s per port, enabling up to 3.2 Tb/s of raw port‑rate traffic, and employs a non‑blocking switching fabric capable of approximately 6.4 Tb/s aggregate bandwidth. With breakout support to speeds such as 50/40/25/10 Gb, and full line‑rate forwarding across all ports, it is well suited for server racks, storage clusters, hyper‑converged systems and cloud‑scale infrastructures where low latency and large east‑west data flows dominate. The unit supports configurable airflow direction (“power‑to‑connector”) for rack cooling alignment and uses open‑networking ONIE support to allow flexible network OS deployment. Its compact 1U form‑factor, high bandwidth capacity, and flexibility make it ideal for dense rack environments in enterprise or service‑provider networks.
