The HPE S0G04A is a stackable Layer 3 access switch from the Aruba CX 6300M series, engineered for demanding enterprise campus, branch, and data center top-of-rack (ToR) environments. This switch provides a powerful foundation for modern networks by integrating advanced security, high availability, and simplified management into a single, scalable platform. Powered by the Aruba Gen7 ASIC architecture, this switch delivers robust, non-blocking performance and low-latency switching. Its 48 HPE Smart Rate ports support flexible 1/2.5/5GbE connectivity, providing investment protection by accommodating a mix of device speeds over existing cabling. Each of these ports also delivers up to 60W of Class 6 Power over Ethernet (PoE), ideal for powering advanced devices like Pan-Tilt-Zoom cameras and the latest Wi-Fi 6E access points, simplifying deployment and reducing cabling complexity. Designed for high availability and simplified operations, the S0G04A supports HPE’s Virtual Switching Framework (VSF), allowing up to 10 switches to be stacked and managed as a single entity. The 1U rack-mountable chassis includes four built-in SFP56 uplink ports supporting speeds up to 50GbE for ample backhaul capacity. Management is streamlined through Aruba Central, a cloud-native platform that provides a unified view and AI-powered analytics for wired, wireless, and WAN infrastructure.
