Intel E8102CQDA2 Network Adapter
Overview :
The Intel E8102CQDA2 is a high-performance Intel Ethernet Network Adapter from the Intel 800 Series (E810 family), designed for enterprise data centers, cloud infrastructure, virtualization clusters, and high-bandwidth storage networks. It is built for workloads requiring very low latency, high throughput, and advanced network offload acceleration.
This adapter is based on the Intel Ethernet Controller E810 and provides dual-port QSFP28 connectivity, supporting data rates up to 100GbE per port (with backward compatibility for 50/25/10GbE depending on configuration). It connects via a PCIe 4.0 x16 host interface, enabling very high aggregate bandwidth for modern server environments.
It supports fiber optic, DAC, and AOC connectivity through QSFP28 interfaces and is commonly deployed in hyperscale data centers and HPC clusters. The adapter includes advanced virtualization and acceleration technologies such as SR-IOV, VMDq, and RDMA (RoCEv2 and iWARP), improving CPU efficiency in virtualized and storage-heavy environments.
This model is strictly intended for server and data center use and requires compatible QSFP28 networking infrastructure, proper airflow, and enterprise-class switching hardware.
