Intel E810XXVDA2 Network Adapter
Overview :
The Intel E810XXVDA2 is a server-class Intel Ethernet Network Adapter from the Intel 800 Series, designed for enterprise data centers, cloud infrastructure, virtualization clusters, and high-throughput storage environments. It is optimized for workloads requiring low latency, advanced network offloads, and high-bandwidth connectivity.
This adapter is based on the Intel Ethernet Controller E810 and provides dual-port 25GbE connectivity using SFP28 interfaces. It supports 25/10/1GbE operation per port and connects through a PCIe 4.0 x8 host interface, enabling high-speed packet processing and efficient throughput for modern server deployments. It supports optical fiber, DAC, and AOC connectivity for flexible rack and top-of-rack network integration.
The adapter includes advanced Intel virtualization and acceleration technologies including SR-IOV, VMDq, RDMA (RoCEv2 and iWARP), Intelligent Offloads, and Intel Data Direct I/O Technology. These capabilities reduce CPU overhead and improve efficiency in virtualized environments, storage-over-Ethernet deployments, and cloud-native workloads.
This model is intended for enterprise server and data center environments and requires compatible SFP28 networking infrastructure and adequate chassis airflow. It is not designed for desktop or consumer use.
