Overview :

The Intel X710T4LOCPV3 is a server-class Intel Ethernet Network Adapter based on the Intel X710 controller, designed for enterprise data centers, virtualization platforms, cloud infrastructure, and high-density network environments. It is part of Intel’s X710 700 Series and is optimized for reliable 10GbE connectivity in rack-scale deployments.

This adapter provides quad-port 10GbE connectivity over RJ45 (10GBASE-T), supporting multiple speeds including 10G, 5G, 2.5G, 1G, and 100M per port. It uses the OCP 3.0 form factor, making it suitable for modern hyperscale server architectures where modular NIC designs are required. The host interface is PCIe 3.0 x8 for stable throughput and low-latency operation.

It includes advanced Intel networking features such as SR-IOV virtualization support, VMDq, Intel Data Direct I/O (DDIO), and flexible port partitioning for efficient multi-tenant workloads. These features improve CPU utilization and reduce network overhead in virtualized and cloud environments.
