Intellinet 210638 – Cat6 Keystone Jack

Overview:

The Intellinet 210638 is a Category 6 (Cat6) Keystone Jack designed for use with unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cabling . It provides a female RJ45 connection point for network wall plates, patch panels, or surface connection boxes .

Network installers and IT technicians use this keystone jack for terminating horizontal cabling runs in both residential and commercial structured cabling installations. It solves the need for a reliable, standardized connection point that meets Cat6 performance specifications, supporting 10G/1G networks at 250 MHz in accordance with ISO/IEC 11801 .

The jack features a punch-down style termination compatible with 110, Krone, LSA, and other punch-down tools, and supports 22 to 26 AWG stranded and solid wire . It is 568A/B color-coded, UL approved, and features 50 micro-inch gold-plated phosphor copper contacts . The component is ideal for HDBaseT and Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications up to IEEE 802.3bt / PoE++ / 4PPoE / Ultra PoE . This jack is not suitable for Cat6A or higher performance cabling standards, nor for outdoor use.
