Overview
Intellinet 508742 is a Gigabit Fiber SFP optical transceiver module designed for fiber uplinks in enterprise networks, data centers, and high-density switching environments. It provides a compact SFP solution for extending Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over multimode fiber.
The module supports 1000Base-SX Gigabit Ethernet with an LC duplex multimode fiber interface. It operates at 850 nm wavelength and supports transmission distances up to 550 m using 50/125 µm multimode fiber or up to 220 m using 62.5/125 µm multimode fiber.
Designed for HPE-compatible switches and routers, the SFP module uses a standard hot-pluggable form factor with a metal housing to reduce electromagnetic interference and improve durability in network deployments.
Suitable for Gigabit fiber uplinks requiring 1000Base-SX multimode connectivity. It is not intended for single-mode fiber applications or network equipment without SFP-compatible interfaces.
