Overview:

The Intellinet 561266 is a 2-port high-power PoE+ extender repeater designed to extend Power over Ethernet connections by an additional 100 meters (328 feet) beyond the standard 100m limit . It is used by network installers and security system integrators to deploy IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones in locations beyond standard Ethernet distance limitations .

This extender solves the challenge of powering and connecting PoE devices at distances up to 200 meters total when used in conjunction with a standard PoE switch or injector . The unit is IEEE 802.3at/af compliant and includes 2 PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) output ports, providing power and data to two downstream devices. Its metal housing ensures durability for deployment in demanding environments.

Deployment is inline between a PoE switch/injector and the end device. The extender draws power from the upstream PoE source and regenerates the signal for both data and power to extend the reach . This unit is NOT suitable for non-PoE applications, for distances beyond 100m per extension segment, or for applications requiring more than 2 downstream devices.
