StarTech ST12MHDLANU HDMI over IP Extender with USB
Overview
The StarTech ST12MHDLANU is a sophisticated HDMI over IP extender that allows you to distribute 1080p video and USB peripheral connectivity over your local area network (LAN). This system is designed for versatile AV installations, such as digital signage, remote server management, and video wall configurations. By leveraging standard IP protocols and Cat5e/Cat6 cabling, it bypasses the distance limitations of traditional HDMI cables, reaching up to 330 feet (100 meters) per network segment.
This unit supports point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and multipoint-to-multipoint configurations when used with additional receivers (ST12MHDLANUR – sold separately) and a managed Gigabit switch with IGMP. A key feature is the integrated 2-port USB hub on the receiver, which enables remote KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) control, allowing you to operate a computer or server from a distant location.
The ST12MHDLANU includes an easy-to-use mobile app and web interface for managing video distribution and switching between different sources. It also supports video wall processing, enabling you to combine multiple receivers and displays to create large-scale visual arrays. With support for 1080p resolution and digital audio, it ensures a high-quality multimedia experience across your entire infrastructure.
