Intellinet 561952 – Ultra Long Range Outdoor PoE+ Extender Kit

Overview :

Ultra long-range PoE+ extender kit enabling Power over Ethernet transmission up to 1000 meters (3280 feet) across standard Cat5e/Cat6 cabling. Deployed by network engineers, security system integrators, and infrastructure architects for powering remote IP cameras, wireless access points, and other PoE devices in outdoor, campus, and perimeter applications where standard 100-meter Ethernet limits are insufficient.

Provides one Powered Device (PD) port supporting up to 95 watts per IEEE 802.3bt (4PPoE) standard, delivering power and data to end devices over extended distances. The set includes two modules for point-to-point extension, enabling flexible deployment across outdoor and industrial environments.

IP67-rated waterproof and dustproof housings protect against harsh environmental conditions, making the extender suitable for pole-mounted, outdoor cabinet, and industrial installations. Gray plastic construction provides durability without adding excessive weight.

Deployed in security surveillance systems, campus-wide Wi-Fi deployments, perimeter access control, and industrial automation applications. Compatible with IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt PoE sources and powered devices.

Not suitable for indoor-only applications requiring shorter standard PoE distances without outdoor protection. Does not include Cat5e/Cat6 cabling; use appropriate outdoor-rated cable for extended runs. Maximum extended distance depends on cable quality and gauge; use 23 AWG solid-core cabling for optimal performance.
