Designed for data center infrastructure administrators and network engineers, this Opengear active GPS antenna resolves precise positioning and time synchronization requirements by linking directly to cellular-enabled out-of-band management gateways. It ensures reliable satellite signal reception to maintain accurate timestamp logging and location tracking across distributed edge locations.

Operating with an active gain of 20 dB, this compact antenna features an integrated magnetic base for secure, tool-free placement on metal server racks or enclosure surfaces. It is equipped with a 2-meter (6.5 ft / approx. 6 ft) RG174 coaxial cable terminating in a standard SMA male connector for direct hardware attachment.

Engineered for deployment with Opengear 4G LTE resilience gateways and operations managers within server racks, data centers, and remote edge facilities. It integrates seamlessly into compatible SMA GPS inputs without requiring external power adapters.

Fully compatible with Opengear 4G LTE cellular units, including OM1200, OM2200, ACM7000, and IM7200 series management gateways. Do not use this active antenna model with older legacy 3G-only units that require passive antenna variants such as part number 569008.
