The Ruckus 40G-QSFP-C-00501-A is a passive twin-ax direct-attach copper (DAC) cable engineered for short-reach connections between two QSFP+ ports running 40 GbE links inside racks or across adjacent racks. It supports four independent 10.3125 Gbps channels for an aggregate 41.25 Gbps data rate over 0.5 m (1.64 ft) cable length, compliant with IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-CR4 and QSFP+ MSA standards. The cable is hot-pluggable and maintains very low power consumption (near 0 W) with a 3.3 V supply, making it suitable for high-density data centre switch stacks, spine-leaf architectures, or switch-to-server interconnects. It operates over a commercial temperature range (0 °C to +70 °C) and meets Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and RoHS requirements.
