The RUCKUS ICX7850-48FS-E2-RMT3 is a fixed-form-factor, 1 RU switch equipped with 48 × 1/10 GbE SFP+ down-links and 8 × 40/100 GbE QSFP28 stacking/uplink ports. It is designed for network engineers who require high density, high throughput aggregation or core switching for enterprise campus or data-centre environments. With full Layer 2/3 support (including BGP, OSPF, VRF) and an optional MACsec encryption license, it addresses security and routing demands at the core. It supports stacking of up to 12 units with up to 10 km between stacked switches, offering distributed chassis-like scalability across the wiring closet or campus. Because it offers redundant, hot-swappable power supplies and fans, and supports front-to-back or back-to-front airflow, it is suitable for both data-centre racks and campus wiring closets under strict cooling constraints. The bundle includes 3-year 24×7 remote support.
