The Ruckus RPS23-E is a modular hot-swappable AC power supply unit designed for use with compatible Ruckus ICX 8200 series chassis. It supplies up to 920 watts of output power and supports front-to-back airflow for optimized cooling in high-density rack environments. The unit is intended for deployment in redundant or load-sharing configurations (two modules per switch) to maintain power continuity for PoE-enabled devices and maintain uptime when servicing or replacing components. Target environments include enterprise campus cores, data-centre aggregation, and telecom access switches where 48X PoE+ ports or large PoE budgets are present. The RPS23-E integrates seamlessly with Ruckus chassis power management and supports automatic failover so that operations are uninterrupted when one power module is removed or fails.
