Overview
The StarTech MOD4DOCKACPD is a specialized, modular docking station designed for hot-desking environments, collaborative workspaces, and organized office deployments. It is a key component of a modular ecosystem that allows IT administrators to integrate docking capabilities directly into a boardroom table or office desk using a compatible StarTech.com connectivity box (sold separately, such as the BEZ4MOD or BOX4MODULE).
This docking station provides up to 60W of Power Delivery (PD) 3.0, enabling it to charge a host laptop while simultaneously managing high-speed data and video throughput. It supports dual-monitor configurations, offering a choice between dual 4K 60Hz DisplayPort outputs or a mix of DisplayPort and HDMI, depending on the workstation requirements.
The modular design ensures that the workstation remains clutter-free by tucking the docking hardware into the furniture, leaving only the necessary ports accessible. It features integrated USB-A and USB-C peripheral ports, Gigabit Ethernet for secure wired networking, and a 3.5mm headset jack. This unit is ideal for architectural or engineering firms where high-resolution multi-monitor setups are standard, but desk real estate is at a premium.
