Overview

The StarTech O1210I-NETWORK-CARD is a high-performance Open Compute Project (OCP) 3.0 network interface card designed for modern server architectures. Utilizing the Intel X710-BM2 controller, it provides dual 10Gbps SFP+ slots, allowing for high-speed, low-latency fiber or copper connectivity in dense data center environments.

This adapter uses the SFF-TA-1002 compliant 4C+ connector, offering a hot-swappable mezzanine form factor that simplifies hardware maintenance and increases port density compared to traditional PCIe cards. It is optimized for virtualization and cloud computing, featuring hardware offloads for VXLAN, GENEVE, and NVGRE, which significantly reduce CPU overhead and improve overall system throughput.

It is engineered for enterprise-grade reliability and is compatible with major server platforms supporting the OCP 3.0 specification. Note that while it supports a wide range of SFP+ modules and DAC cables, it does not support 10Gbps copper SFP+ modules.
