Overview
The TRENDnet TPE-3018LS is a managed 18‑port Gigabit switch engineered for surveillance system integrators and network engineers deploying IP cameras and NVRs. It features 16 dedicated Gigabit PoE+ ports for powering devices plus 2 shared Gigabit ports (either RJ‑45 or SFP) to extend uplink flexibility. With a total PoE budget of 220 W the device supports full 30 W per port on the PoE ports and offers long‑distance PoE+ support up to 200 m at 10 Mbps. It is designed for 1U rack‑mount installation in network rooms or surveillance closets and supports advanced traffic management: IPv4/IPv6, LACP, 802.1Q VLANs, IGMP snooping, QoS, and SNMP monitoring. The built‑in “surveillance” GUI simplifies discovery and management of ONVIF‑compliant cameras, making this switch a practical choice for campus, branch or data‑centre surveillance edge deployments.
