Overview :

The Opengear CM8116-10G-DDC is a 1U rack-mounted console manager designed for secure out-of-band (OOB) management of enterprise, colocation, and data center infrastructure. It provides centralized access to critical IT equipment through 16 software-selectable serial console ports and high-speed Ethernet connectivity, enabling administrators to maintain remote access during network outages.

Powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core ARM processor with 2 GB memory and 32 GB flash storage, the appliance supports Docker containers, TPM 2.0 security, and Opengear Smart OOB™ capabilities. The CM8116-10G-DDC features dual 10GbE SFP+ uplinks, dual 1GbE RJ45 interfaces, and dual DC power inputs for resilient deployments in modern network environments.

This model is intended for organizations requiring secure serial console access with redundant DC power infrastructure. It integrates with Opengear Lighthouse for centralized fleet management. It is not suitable where integrated cellular connectivity is required, as the cellular modem is available only on the -C variants.
